Calgon Carbon gets $2.3 million water treatment contract from Scottsdale, Ariz.
PITTSBURGH (AP) -- Calgon Carbon Corp. said Thursday it got a $2.3 million one-year contract from Scottsdale, Ariz., to supply granular activated carbon and provide related services for two new water treatment facilities.
The city may renew the contract up to four years.
Calgon said the deal is the company's first major award for products and services to control disinfection byproducts in drinking water.
