Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. announced Tuesday that it received a contract to provide engineering, procurement, and construction services for ExxonMobil's diesel supply projects in Baytown, Texas, and Baton Rouge, La.
These projects, with scheduled completion in 2010, allow the refineries to meet rising diesel demand globally. Through the construction of new units and modification of existing facilities, the refineries can increase the production of ultra low sulfur diesel.
In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President James Stewart stated, "With this award, ExxonMobil and Jacobs further extend a long working relationship of over 50 years. This is an exciting opportunity to expand our large project portfolio with ExxonMobil, adding to our current engineering, construction, and maintenance presence."
Jacobs, with over 57,000 employees and revenues exceeding $11.0 billion, provides technical, professional, and construction services globally.
