Albemarle To Raise Antioxidant Prices for Fuels, Lubricants

Albemarle Corp. announced Thursday that it will increase prices of its ETHANOX antioxidants for fuel and lubricant market segments globally by 15%. The increase will be applied on all shipments on or after May 1, 2010, or as contracts allow.
Albemarle's ETHANOX antioxidants are widely used to maintain product performance in lubricant, fuel and biofuel applications. The ETHANOX product line is part of the company's Polymer Solutions business segment.
