LyondellBasell Restarts Houston Refinery CDU

LyondellBasell on Thursday announced that its Houston refinery returned a crude distillation unit to service on July 1. The unit, one of two heavy crude distillation units at the 268,000 barrels per day refinery, was shut down on May 17 as a result of a fire.

LyondellBasell is one of the world's largest plastics, chemical and refining companies. The company manufactures products at 59 sites in 18 countries.
