HOUSTON, June 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Kraton Performance Polymers, Inc.), a leading global producer of styrenic block copolymers or "SBCs," is pleased to announce its inclusion in the Houston Chronicle Top 100 list of publicly traded companies in the Houston area for 2010. The Top 100 list, which is prepared on behalf of the Houston Chronicle by Capital IQ Compustat, ranks Houston's top public companies by a score based on four measures of financial performance: total revenue, revenue growth, earnings-per-share growth and one year total return to shareholders (on a dividend-reinvested basis).
"Kraton is honored to receive this recognition," said Kevin Fogarty, President and CEO of Kraton Performance Polymers. "Two-thousand-ten was a year of notable performance for Kraton—by virtually every measure. In our first year as a public company, we established and delivered on four key operating priorities designed to create growth and value including: earnings growth, innovation-led top line growth, capital investment, and development of critical capabilities," he continued. "Kraton's ability to deliver highly engineered solutions and continually develop new applications for styrenic block copolymers is what sets us apart from our competitors," he concluded.
