Akzo sells PVC additives unit to GIL Investments

AMSTERDAM, March 15 (Reuters) - Dutch chemical group Akzo Nobel NV said on Thursday it has sold its Akcros Chemicals PVC additives business to UK investment firm GIL Investments for an undislosed sum.
"Transferring the bulk of the PVC additives activities to a new owner is the best way forward for the business, which will continue to operate under its current name," Leif Darner, member of Akzo Nobel's management board responsible for Chemicals, said in a statement.
