Lyondell Houston Refinery Unit to Take 10-Day Outage

HOUSTON, April 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Lyondell Chemical Company today announced that beginning next week, the fluid catalytic cracking unit at its Houston refinery will be out of service for approximately 10 days to make minor adjustments to equipment installed during the refinery's recent upgrade. Lyondell said that other refinery units will continue to operate during this period, and estimated that the pre-tax impact on second- quarter results will be in the range of $20 million to $30 million.
