FACTBOX-Top 10 chemicals deals

July 17 (Reuters) - Basell, a Dutch-based chemical and plastics company owned by U.S. based Access Industries, said on Tuesday that it plans to buy Lyondell Chemical Co. for about $12.7 billion.

The following list ranks the 10 largest chemicals deals announced so far this year excluding the Lyondell sale, according to research firm Dealogic. The values of the deals exclude debt.
