BRUSSELS, Oct 30 (Reuters) - Belgian drugs, chemicals and plastics maker Solvay said its pharmaceutical division had agreed the sale of its fine chemicals and vitamin D business to India's Dishman Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals Ltd).
Solvay said in a statement on Tuesday that all 44 employees of its Veenendaal site in the Netherlands would be transferred.
The sale is part of Solvay's strategy to focus on the main therapeutic areas of cardiometabolic and neuroscience treatments. It is not expected to have a material impact on the Solvay Group's results, the company said.
