Cambrex to close North Brunswick facility, take $2 mln charges

Nov 9 (Reuters) - Cambrex Corp said it will substantially close its technical center in North Brunswick, New Jersey by December end and expects total restructuring charges of about $2 million.
The company is consolidating its United States research and development activities and small scale active pharmaceutical ingredient production to its facility in Charles City, Iowa, it said in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Lease payments of about $1.4 million per year will continue through November 2010, it added.
