Requirements:
Process Engineering experience in chemicals processing is required. Experience with projects and any batch organic chemical or emulsion polymerization experience is ideal. Proficient working experience with process control computers and batch programming language is preferred. Personal qualifications should include an emphasis on trouble shooting and problem solving. Good communication skills both written and oral to technical and non-technical personnel are required. Incumbent must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills, good analytical and problem solving skills, and an "out of the box" thinker. Must be a team oriented person able to lead teams to successful conclusions. Must be innovative, with good multi-tasking and prioritizing abilities, a self-starter and self-motivated with ability to work well under pressure with tight timelines and flexible and alert to the need to change priorities. The Process Engineer is responsible for planning and implementing process optimization and improvement projects associated with the chemistry, software, and hardware used in the emulsion manufacturing process at the facility. The Senior Process Engineer applies engineering skills and experience to develop design parameters, evaluation, and justification of equipment necessary for optimization and improvement of the process. The Process Engineer aids in process modifications through process computer program updates. This position also works in conjunction with the R&D Department in scale up of new products.

The Production Area Leader reports to the Production Manager and will fill a lead production role on two or more production lines within the plant. This position will coordinate the activities of two or more Production Engineers to ensure that production line activities are aligned with department, site and corporate goals and policies. This includes ensuring that site and corporate policies and procedures are followed. The production Area Leader will also serve as a key contact for the assigned production lines when working with other departments. The Production Area Leader will assume ownership of large or complex tasks extending across or outside of assigned production lines, as well as track and monitor critical deadlines pertaining to documentation updates, EHS/Quality action items and incident investigations within the lines. The Production Area Leader has 2 or more direct reports with 20-40 indirect reports. General Responsibilities: o Drive a culture of EHS excellence within the production team, where EHS is part of the fabric of who we are and is part of everyday activities. Ensure compliance with EHS federal and state laws as well as all corporate standards. This is a leadership position that will have a strong impact on the attitude and actions of direct and indirect reports towards EHS - it is not enough to just talk a good game, you have to bring-it. o Responsible for oversight of assigned production lines to ensure regulatory and safety standards as well as quality, productivity and financial objectives are met. o Provide proactive and participative leadership to the production team to effectively align and engage resources with site and business needs. o Lead, participate in, and assign incident investigations as needed. o Ensure that training of direct and indirect reports is complete and continuously up to date. This includes cross training of direct reports. o Develop performance of direct and indirect reports by setting meaningful goals and objectives that are aligned with site and business goals, providing feedback, and developmental opportunities for associates to reach their full potential. o Develop strategies to strive for the highest standards of customer service and drive continuous improvement in the reliability and capability of processes and products. o Improve area costs through active management of external services, reduction of waste and utility usage, and use of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and other methods to improve productivity. o Work closely with Shift Supervisors to facilitate the 5S process in assigned production areas, and distribute/balance hourly staffing on assigned production lines.
Requirements:

Requirements:
Need strong Process/Project Engineering experience in the chemical processing industry and must have experience interfacing with contractors and have handled projects in the $1 to $2MM level. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Prefer to have proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Power Point (or equivalent software applications) and a pipeline-sizing program. Must have good interpersonal skills including ability to communicate in English. Prefer to have good presentation skills. Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job. Travel domestically overnight via aircrafts, trains, or motor vehicles.
