Description:

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, responsible for the continuous improvement of the heat & material balances of our processes; processes include, but are not limited to: wet processing, gravity separation, drying, dry screening processes and all inputs to production, fuels, additives, post-production packaging, etc.; have ownership and accountability of the process and in charge of process improvement and optimization; and root causes analysis on process issues; providing process support for troubleshooting, optimization, planning to production, maintenance, and quality control; Supervise and coordinate activities of personnel in operations; records any problems related to the process or system; initiates, recommends, provides and/or implements solutions; involved in maintenance planning meetings, outage meetings, and continuous improvement meetings. Work with Engineering to design, implement plant modification from the startup and transitioning to the continuous monitoring and optimization phase; and other duties as assigned by management. |
Requirements:
|
A degree in Engineering and 2+ years of experience in root Cause analysis and process engineering within maintenance, operations or plant engineering environments; industry background in manufacturing related to mining, paper mills, steel plants, refractory, heavy equipment fabrication, cement plants, etc., preferred; a ''take charge'' person with a Positive & Proactive attitude with the ability to perform with minimal supervision; able and willing to spend the majority of time in the plant with the operators. |
