Description:

The Operations & Maintenance Manager role will be responsible for the management of the operations and maintenance activities at the site. The focus will be on continuous improvement of the plants overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) through the execution and implementation of excellence in operational and maintenance activities. Through the use of world class manufacturing principles such as Six Sigma and preventive & predictive maintenance, the incumbent will ensure equipment reliability. The Manager will drive change; instill discipline, efficiency and accountability to the operations and maintenance workforce in the overall execution of day to day activities. Incumbent will ensure all policies, guidelines and standards are practiced and enforced while maintaining a safe environment that complies with all applicable regulations. The position will also have responsibility for submitting and managing yearly budgets for operations and maintenance. |
Requirements:
|
A degree in Chemical Engineering and 7 plus years of relevant experience in a chemical manufacturing environment; 3+ years of operational supervisory/line management experience. Strong computer skills (MS Office Products); SAP experience preferred. Working knowledge of OSHA standards, concepts, and procedures, especially relating to Life Critical activities and environmental regulations. Able to conduct investigations, develop root causes, and develop/deliver corrective actions. |
