OVERVIEW: Our clients need Sr. and Jr. Process Engineers, PSM Engineers and other Engineers in Plant and Corporate settings. Our clients currently have many projects underway, all at various stages of development, screening, conceptual, feasibility, definition, and implementation. Initial assignment will involve oversight of a various range of projects and will depend on the engineer's interest and experience level.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES (depending on where experience fits in best):
Interface with the area teams and technologists ensure project related technical and operating issues are addressed.
Develop conceptual scope to meet project objectives, either directly or through the use of contractors.
Prepare Scope of Work documents and solicit proposals from engineering contractors.
Manage the engineering contractor to ensure quality of the process design work product while meeting budget and schedule.
Participate in P&ID, HAZOP, SIL reviews, construction punch-out, and project startup activities.
Evaluate project economics and identify alternative solutions or designs.
Perform process simulations and use other engineering tools and calculation methods to evaluate project options and develop scope.

REQUIREMENTS:
Chemical Engineering with Chemical, Petrochemical or Refining engineering experience. Plant experience, optimizations, statistical programs, DCS or simulation/modeling are just a few types of experience that would be a plus, but a solid ‘get it done’ attitude towards your engineering work a must!
