OVERVIEW: The Quality Manager supervises and assists a technical staff responsible for introducing, optimizing/improving, troubleshooting, and testing products and manufacturing processes. The manager directs department activities, reviews analysis and improvement recommendations, and recommends improvement opportunities and prioritizations to the Plant Manager and other leadership team members.

Ensures all processes, designs, manufacturing & operating procedures, test methods, etc. adhere to regulatory and site safety requirements.
Drives improvements to the manufacturing plant processes, procedures, products, and all aspects of the QA lab.
Maintains and drives improvements in quality specifications for products and raw materials.
Directs, assists, and/or provides resources for troubleshooting batches for process and/or raw material related issues.
Develops and maintains quality systems for ISO compliance.

REQUIREMENTS: Quality Management/Supervision experience in manufacturing setting. Good understanding of PSM & ISO requirements. Familiarity with quality management systems and “Best Practices” procedures. Strong competency with SAP or similar ERP database management systems. Exposure to applications using continuous improvement techniques; 8D, TQM, Problem Solving DMAIC, FMEA’s, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, etc.
