DUTIES: Identify opportunities for improvements and make recommendations to the engineering team and upper management. Participate in day-to-day operations to resolve process issues and provide technical solutions as needed. Maintain and update Process Safety Management initiatives including procedures, process safety information, piping and instrument diagrams, and process hazard analysis. Provide process engineering support to all aspects of site operations, guiding new equipment design and commissioning, introducing new products and problem-solving process issues. Apply a sound knowledge of safety and environmental concerns in all undertakings. Provide process engineering support for capital projects.
REQUIREMENTS: Degree in Chemical Engineering with process engineering experience in chemicals processing. PSM experience preferred. Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify root cause and implement corrective actions. Strong work ethic, high level of integrity and ability to work effectively under pressure. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Self-starter who works well independently or in a team environment.
CAVEAT: Your experience must be as a direct employee of an operating chemical, petrochemical, refining, or closely related industry. You must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident, and you must reside in the USA.
