DUTIES:
This role will lead, manage, and continuously improve all manufacturing and logistics processes in full alignment with the company strategy
Continuously improve safety through training, auditing, and housekeeping
Maximize available uptime through improvement of predictive and preventive maintenance and process improvements
Continuously improve customer satisfaction through improvement of on-time delivery, reduction of customer complaints and consistency of product quality
Reduce the total delivered cost of goods through reduction of non-conforming product, increased process reliability, and increased productivity
Manage, direct, and implement operations strategies to ensure the achievement of short- and long-term goals and policies
Support and foster business policies and objectives, while ensuring a positive work environment
Lead a safety culture transformation focused on leading indicator, activity-based employee engagement
Ensure full compliance with all applicable EH&S regulatory requirements
Strengthen the Continuous Improvement process for the Houston plant for defining and implementing workflow efficiency, fixed cost savings, yield improvements, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness
Ensure site implementation of process to deliver improved equipment reliability and best-in-class maintenance cost profile
Must work collaboratively with Corporate Process and Project Engineering functions to implement strategic technology improvements and implement Capital Investment plan
REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Chemical Engineering with 10+ years are in the management of a chemical manufacturing environment.
